NY10K Race Information

On-line entries for the New Years Day 10k are now closed. Many thanks to the 189 runners who have already signed up for the race. We welcome entries on race day.
The latest weather forecast says conditions should be mild and cloudy some light rain is expected but not until 2pm. We should be able to park everyone in the Rowing Club Car Park and Adjacent Field. If you use the public car parks in Greyfriars Avenue or Friar Street please be aware that Herefordshire Council now ch...
arges for parking on Bank Holidays.
We will be starting and finishing the race on the Great Western Way this year close to the normal start and finish. Just follow the riverside towpath to the old Rail Bridge steps and the start is on the left near lamppost LC42. It will be well signposted and is a 5 min walk from the Rowing Club.
We have a UKA permit for The Great Western Way start/finish and a certificate of course accuracy.
We expect registration to be extremely busy this year as we already have a record number of advance entries. Please allow plenty of time to collect your number. There will be a fast track line for those that have pre-entered. Ideally we would like to close registration at 10.40am but as usual will do our very best to register late comers.
Race presentations will be made in the Rowing Club bar as close as possible to 12.45.
Refreshments are provided free of charge if you would like to make a small donation in the collection boxes provided to Midlands Air Ambulance it would be much appreciated.
Have a great Race and Happy New Year to you all.
